Two-time, All-Conference USA selection Jack Fox is one of three punters who have been invited to participate in the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana which runs from February 26 to March 4.

Fox will join Stanford's Jake Bailey and Utah's Mitch Wishnowsky in Indianapolis when the specialists are evaluated (February 28-March 1). He is the first Owl to be invited to the Combine since Christian Covington in 2015.

Fox participated in the East-West Shrine Game in St. Petersburg, Florida in January and averaged 46.8 yards on five punts. He placed three of five inside the 20 and had a long kick of 57 yards.

He led C-USA in punting for the second straight year, averaging 45.5 yards per punt while leading the nation with a school record 3,636 punting yards. His average was second best in the nation among punters with at least 60 punts and ranked eighth nationally among all punters.

A Ray Guy Award Semifinalist in 2018, he led the conference with 26 punts of at least 50 yards and 31 punts inside the 20-yard line. Behind Fox, Rice set a school record for net punting (40.11) while placing 18th nationally. He also kept the opposition to a kickoff return average of 16.1, which was sixth in the nation and Rice's lowest since 1999.

At North Texas, he averaged 47.3 yards per punt over seven punts, including a career-best 76-yarder, which is the eighth longest in the country this year. He placed five of them inside the 20 and one inside the 10. His performance at North Texas earned him the Ray Guy Punter of the Week Award.
